People living in the world of affairs are constantly identifyinh themselves with the changing movie of experiences – thoughts, feelings, and states of mind that come and go.

Spiritual seekers, having felt the pain of this coming and going, are looking for something stable- the non-changing pure awareness. Fearing the pain of getting identified, mant of these seekers choose to hold on to awareness alone, discarding the rest.
